Hello Ppl, So I’ve been M.I.A. for like a month, but you know how it goes once school comes back in. Nevertheless I just wanted to update ya’ll on what’s been going on, I’ve been continuing my plan for a healthier lifestyle. Currently I have lost 10 solid lbs (though this was not the ultimate fitness goal), I eat a lot more fruits and vegetables, I average about 2 liters of water daily, and I work out at least 3 days a week. If you wanna know specifics about the weight loss or how I actually stuck to the plan and have continued choosing better options, just ask. I haven’t eaten red meat all year; I do want to continue eating red meat, but the goal is not to do so before spring break (March 4th) and to only eat it in moderation. I also haven’t had soda or juice (and I’m a HUGE juice drinker) all year. I’m trying to give up sodas all together, but I wasn’t drinking juice because it’s so high in sugar and I am trying to loose weight (though this is NOT the only goal). Instead I’ve drank liters upon liters of water daily, or I’ll make FRESH SQUEEZED lemonade #yum. I’m somewhat addicted to working out now. I do a variety of workouts, mostly cardio, including: running/walking, racquetball, tennis, self-defense, jump roping, dancing and elliptical. I generally try to do a minimum of like 20 minutes (but I usually do more than that) in every workout except jump roping because I would probably die. J/K but seriously, my stamina is not high enough for 20 min of straight jump roping. Nonetheless, I’m pretty pleased with the changes that I’ve been able to make so far. I’m also keeping a fitness journal that includes what workouts I’ve done and the meals I’ve eaten (to aid in counting calories). I hope you took the time out today to do some community service in memory of Dr. King. I volunteered at a senior center (Seymour Center) earlier today :) It’s not a lot, but if we all have a little impact, its part of a much larger one…

Roommate: O_o Its the first day of classes and all you had were two PHYA classes today, what WORK were you going to do?
Me: Oh yea. You right. Lol
UNC will do it to you. Have you trying to do work on the first day of classes and I didn't even have real classes. Not to mention most of my classes aren't even on blackboard. Sheesh.
